Will Mexico get half of the US back?
In 1848 the Guadalipe Hidalgo Agreement took place. This treaty was considered The Treaty of Peace between the United Stated and the Mexican Republic. However, peace was the very least. This settlement was only beneficial to the non-Mexicans as more than 50% of Mexico land was taken from Mexico.
This trickery, a long used strategy used among settlers, forced the Mexican lands of New Mexico, California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Utah and Wyoming to transfer to the US territory.
This past week, Mexican Politician Cuauhtemoc Cardens filed an appeal and demands an annul (void) of this agreement that forced Mexicans to surrender a large chunk of what American's don't realize was once Mexico and only remains the US fraudulently.
